Hyatt Place Kathmandu welcomed the holiday season in grand style with a heartwarming Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, held amidst an esteemed gathering of travel agents, corporate clients, celebrities, influencers, and in-house guests. The event celebrated the spirit of togetherness, sustainability, and festive cheer.
The evening's centerpiece was a stunning sustainable Christmas tree, crafted entirely from pinecones handpicked by the hotel’s dedicated team. This eco-friendly masterpiece not only stood as a testament to creativity and teamwork but also embodied the beauty of sustainability, leaving guests inspired and captivated.
The ceremony reached its pinnacle as children lit the tree, adorned with shimmering lights and ornaments, symbolizing hope, unity, and the joy of the holiday season. Guests were treated to carol singing, live music, and an array of holiday-themed delicacies, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.
In the spirit of giving, Hyatt Place Kathmandu introduced a unique “Gingerbread House” initiative. Guests were invited to place bricks on the house for NPR 100 each, with all proceeds going to Aamako Ghar, an old age home dedicated to supporting the elderly and abandoned children with care and digity.
Adding to the festive indulgence, the evening featured the city's longest Yule Log—a sweet culinary masterpiece that delighted everyone present. A surprise appearance by Santa Claus brought an extra touch of magic, spreading joy to guests of all ages.
Hyatt Place Kathmandu invites everyone to join in the festive celebrations throughout December, with exciting events and heartwarming experiences designed to embrace the true spirit of the holiday season.
