A total of 1,332 people were found carrying the Covid-19 in tests carried out on 16,844 people using the RT-PCR and antigen testing method in the past 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, this takes the total number of cases so far to 780,824.

Likewise, 1220 people recovered today, taking the total number of recoveries to 743,526. 

Today's number of active cases is 26,307, of which 24,683 are in home isolation while 1624 are in institutional isolation. Of them, 407 are undergoing treatment in the ICU of various hospitals, while 129 are with ventilator support.

Meanwhile, seven people succumbed to COVID-19 today, taking the death toll to 10,991. The case fatality rate is 1.5 percent.

Also, today, a whopping 299,131 people were vaccinated, taking the people with a total dose of vaccine to 5,415,427 while 6,004,019 have received a single dose of the two-dose COVID-19 vaccine.
