Infected police personnel will be treated in isolation wards within the brigade premises

As many as 42 police personnel of the Armed Police Force of  the third Gadhimai Brigade in Rapti municipality, Bhandara have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection.

Two of the infected are women personnel and 40 are men, according to information shared by the Bharatpur COVID-19 Laboratory. PCR tests on all police personnel of the brigade were conducted following the confirmation of the virus among eight of them, shared brigade commander APF Deputy Inspector General Sandeep Shrestha.

He said that 42 out of 60 samples were diagnosed with the virus. There are more than 300 APF personnel in the brigade. The infected police personnel would be treated in isolation wards within the brigade premises, Shrestha said.
