Baitadi jeep accident: one dies, three injured

The accident took place when the Bajhang bound jeep from Dhangadhi went out of control and fell down some 150 meters off the road.

A person died and three others were injured in a jeep accident at Sunarya rural municipality-7, Alugaira in Baitadi this morning. 

Driver Dhan Bahadur Bohora, 27, of Bungal municipality-11 died on the spot when the jeep (Se 1 Ja 843) met with the accident at around 5.00 am. 

Other injured are Janakraj Bhatta, 35, of Purchaudi municipality-4 of Baitadi, Gangadutta Bhatta, 40, of the same place, and Haris Bohora, 28, of Bitthadchir rural municipality 

The accident took place when the Bajhang bound jeep from Dhangadhi went out of control and fell down some 150 meters off the road. 

Critically injured Janakraj and Gangadutta have been taken to the Dadeldhura Hospital. Further investigation into the incident is underway, said the spokesperson of the District Police Office Baitadi Janak Bahadur Dhami.
