Baring Surkhet, Karnali province free of Corona

All nine districts except Surkhet in Karnali Province have been declared COVID-19 infection-free districts.

All nine districts except Surkhet in Karnali Province have been declared COVID-19 infection-free districts. Dailekh, Kalikot, Jumla, Humla, Mugu, Dolpa, Rukum West, Jajarkot and Salyan districts have no single case of Corona infection of late. 
 According to the Ministry of Health, Public Health Division, there are 11 active cases in Surkhet district till today. 

Similarly, 3,265 individuals are so far found infected with the deadly virus in Surkhet. Likewise, Dailekh records 1,685 cases, Salyan records 693 cases, Jumla records 423 cases while Rukum West records 257 cases so far.   The Ministry further states that Jajarkot has recorded 159 cases, Humla records 61, Mugu records 41 and Dolpa records 44 cases. 

A total of 31 persons died of virus infection in Karnali province. Meanwhile, 26,990 individuals have been vaccinated against coronavirus.
