The Cheetah has come under control this morning after falling into a cage set up in a community forest in Bhanu Municipality-2 of Tanahu.

Assistant Forest Officer Suresh Kumar Bhujel informed that the Cheetah was brought under control and preparations were being made to relocate it safely. The Cheetah has come under control for the second time after falling into a cage set up in Majuwa Okhle Community Forest. Last year, a Cheetah fell in the same cage. This is the eleventh Cheetah that came under control after being trapped. Only a few days ago, the tenth Cheetah was brought under control after falling into an iron cage set up in Aubukhaireni Gaonpalika-2.

Forest officials are putting up traps to arrest the wild animal that has become a menace for the locals living near the forest area. Many children have been killed in attacks by Cheetah in Bhanu and Shuklagandaki municipalities, Anbukhaireni, and Bandipur rural municipalities.
