Country records 7,448 new cases of Corona Virus

The country recorded 7,448 new cases of Corona Virus in last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population.

The country recorded 7,448 new cases of Corona Virus in last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, this number of COVID-19 cases was confirmed in course of conducting 16,176 RT-PCR tests and 518 antigen tests.

A total of 7,388 people tested positive for Corona Virus while carrying out 16,176 PCR tests and 60 people in course of carrying out 518 antigen tests. Out of 7,448 new cases, a total of 3,666 are from the Kathmandu Valley alone. Of them, altogether 2,922 are in Kathmandu district, 222 in Bhaktapur and 522 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, 37 people succumbed to Corona Virus in last 24 hours. With this, the total death toll due to COVID-19 reached 3,362 in Nepal.

Similarly, 2,021 have returned home after recovery. At present, the country has 54041 reported active cases of COVID-19.
