Government of Province No. 2 prepares to operate public transport service

The government of Province No. 2 is going to operate the bus as a public transport service from the government level. The state government has also procured five buses for bus service.

Minister for Physical Development and Infrastructure Jitendra Sonal said that preparations have been made to operate a state-level bus to facilitate the people of the state in transportation. The buses are now kept at the Sipradi office in Dhalkebar, Mithila Municipality, Dhanusha. The buses will be operational in a few days, said Minister Sonal.

According to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, the bus was purchased at a cost of Rs. 67.95 million. The state government plans to operate two Janakpur-Birgunj, two Janakpur-Rajbiraj and one Rajbiraj-Birgunj buses at cheaper rates than private buses.
