India will ship to Mozambique 100,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines in the coming days, Mozambican Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Veronica Macamo said on Wednesday.

The official made the remarks after receiving credentials of the Indian High Commissioner to Mozambique, Ankan Banerjee. Macamo did not reveal specific dates of the arrival.

"We believe that the doses promised by India will arrive soon. I just can't say when, because there are a number of procedures to be followed by the two countries for this to happen," said the minister.
