Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai has said that revival programs will be brought for the development of the tourism sector. Talking to reporters here today, he said that the government would bring a program focused on domestic tourism in 2021 BS for the development of the tourism sector.
Stating that the corona has affected the tourism business not only in Nepal but all over the world, Minister Bhattarai said, "Corona has affected the tourism sector not only in Nepal but all over the world. The government has started opening domestic and international flights to boost it."
He said that 40 percent of domestic flights have already started. He informed that work is being done for the promotion of domestic tourism in 2021 BS. "The government has announced a package for the development of the region," he said. Stating that the NRB is working on setting criteria for the package, he said, "Tourism entrepreneurs will be able to make refinancing as per the criteria set by the NRB."
Speaking in a different context, he said that the party would not be divided. He said, "The party should not be divided at a time when the parties including the Congress and the CPN (Maoist) have to go together." Stating that the party split will be stopped with the respectful participation of all within the party, he said that they are urging the leadership to bring the party together.
