The Division Road Office, Kathmandu, is planning to construct disabled-friendly roads in different places in the current fiscal year.

Chief of Division Kuber Nepali shared that the task has already been started in the vicinity of Singha Durbar. According to him, a separate track for commuters would be constructed in the first stage considering the flow of commuters. “This will be gradually expanded to all roads,” Nepali added.

Likewise, the Division Office is preparing to construct roads for commuters in under-construction roads. The road for commuters will be developed along the under-construction Gaushala-Chabahil road section.
Similarly, the commuters will have their own road along the Koteshwor-Jadibuti section.
