The Country has logged 6,677 new COVID-19 cases in the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

The Country has logged 6,677 new COVID-19 cases in the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

With this, COVID-19 caseload has reached 535,525 till date. The new cases were confirmed from 19,352 cases-19,030 RT-PCR tests and 322 antigen -, said the Ministry in its routine press conference here today.

Similarly, a total of 6,716 COVID-19 patients were recorded to have recovered from the flu-like infection during the same period. The total recovery cases till date stands at 411,603 which is 76.9 %.
Likewise, 145 COVID-19 patients died due to the deadly infection in the last 24 hours taking the COVID-19 fatality caseload to 6,845 as of now.

Among the infected ones 117,077 were receiving treatment in home isolation while 853 were quarantined, said the Ministry.
