Sudurpaschim witnesses sharp increase in coronavirus cases

With the additional 333 COVID-19 cases on Thursday. the tally of coronavirus infection cases in Sudurpaschim State has risen to 2,933. As of Thursday Kanchanpur has 351 COVID-19-cases, Doti (373), Dadeldhura (230), Bajura (337), Baitadi (236), Bajhang (127), Achham (288) and Darchula (17).

The tally of coronavirus infection cases has risen to 2,933 in the Sudurpaschim State with the addition of 333 new cases on Thursday.

Likewise, Kailali District of the State witnessed 138 new cases of coronavirus in a day totaling 874 infected in the district. With this, Kailali District has appeared as the zone with the highest cases of coronavirus infection.

According to In-charge of Health Division of Ministry of Social Development Narendra Singh Karki, as of Thursday Kanchanpur has 351 COVID-19-cases, Doti (373), Dadeldhura (230), Bajura (337), Baitadi (236), Bajhang (127), Achham (288) and Darchula (17).

As many as 323 people had tested positive for the deadly virus in Sudurpaschim State in a day based on the swab sample tests carried out in the National Public Health Laboratory, Seti State Hospital and Bir Hospital. So far six persons have lost their lives to COVID-19 in the State. The infection rate has abruptly increased in the State of late.
