In Godavari Dham of Kailali this year, Twelve Darshan Makarmela is going to be held. According to the Godavari Dham Development Committee, the Makar Mela will be held from 30th Poush to 12th Magh.
On the occasion of the fair, twelve navagrahas, the establishment of twenty-seven nakshetras and Lakshya Havan, various puranas, prayer, planet worship, planet peace, bhajan kirtan, sermon, etc. will be held.

The Godavari municipality of Kailali is going to arrange a free bus for Makar Mela. A free bus will be arranged for the Bahrrashi Darshan Makar Mela to be organized in Godavari Dham.
The municipality has organized a press conference today and said that it has arranged a free bus for the convenience of devotees going to the Makar Mela.
“Free buses have been arranged with the hope that devotees who have religious faith will be able to attend the fair held at Godavari, a religious place in the Far West,” said Mayor Birendra Bhatt._Rss
