Butterfly activity is at its peak during the warmer months, from late spring to early autumn. The period from April to October is particularly ideal for butterfly watching in Nepal. During this time, the weather is favorable, and the butterflies are most active, flitting about in search of nectar and mates.

Godavari
Located just 14 kilometers southeast of Kathmandu, Godavari is a popular spot for butterfly watching. Shivapuri National Park
Situated on the northern fringe of the Kathmandu Valley, Shivapuri National Park is another excellent location for butterfly enthusiasts. Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

Chitwan National Park
