How to Reach Lukla

The airport is one of the busiest in the region, and flights can get fully booked, so it is advisable to book in advance.
Alternatively, visitors can trek from Jiri to Lukla. This route is longer, but it offers trekkers a chance to experience the local culture and lifestyle in the region. The trek from Jiri to Lukla takes around 8 to 9 days and covers a distance of around 160 kilometers.
