A Saturday to experience all things Thai, ‘Thai Festival 2019’ organised by the Thai Royal Embassy saw a great turn up at the whole-day event. Inaugurated by Thai Ambassador to Nepal His Excellency Bhakavat Tansku along with other distinguished guests.
In his welcome speech, His Excellency Bhakavat Tansku said that November 30 will mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Thailand and Nepal. In accordance with that the Royal Thai Embassy has organised this Thai Fest to bring the people together, to have deep cultural bond, he added. His Excellency requested all the guests to enjoy the fest.
Entertaining Thai cultural dance and musical performances along with thrilling Muay Thai performance made the happening event an exciting and authentic experience. The stalls at the event showcased Thai products, Thai massage, and crowd-pleasing Thai food from authentic Thai restaurants such as Yin Yang, Krua Thai, Bungalow Bar & Kitchen and Zen Bistro & Café.
All in all, Thai Fest 2019 was an excellent way to spend one’s Saturday with friends and family and experience the Thai culture. There were other attractions such as quiz and lucky draws for the audience to win attractive gifts and prizes, including round trip ticket from Kathmandu to Bangkok.
