On December 16, 2022, The Radisson Hotel Kathmandu hosted a ceremony to officially welcome the holiday season. The hotel extended its invitations to guests from various industries to attend the ceremony. During the tree lighting event, the large Christmas tree was lit to officially signal the start of the holiday season.
With the warmth and joy of the holiday season, everyone gathered in the lobby. Mr. Subrata Banerjee, General Manager, welcomed everyone to the ceremony before it began. Mr. Banerjee extended the invitation to Ms. Tomoko Tanaka from JICA Nepal to light the tree. Soon, Santa Claus appeared with a bag of chocolates, much to the pleasure of young guests. While taking pictures with Santa, all of the attendees were enjoying themselves.
The Radisson Hotel Kathmandu celebrated this special occasion with live Christmas Carol singing, a gingerbread house display, jingle bells, holiday treats, and Santa Claus bringing cheer to all the guests with other exciting, festive celebrations.
The hotel’s chefs created a mouth-watering spread to honour the occasion with the ideal balance of holiday cheer and enthusiasm. Additionally, a cute chocolate Santa who appeared to be rather alluring was also there. The musical holiday experiences brought the evening to a successful conclusion.
