Radisson Hotel Kathmandu has launched a Thai Food Festival in partnership with the Royal Thai Embassy to coincide with Maha Songkran, also known as the Thai New Year, is a vibrant and joyous occasion marked by elaborate festivities across Thailand. It symbolizes the renewal of life and is celebrated with rituals, traditional performances, and, of course, delicious food.
Lasting 9 days from April 25 to May 3, 2024, the festival showcases the best flavors from Thailand. Master Chef Yao from Thailand presents an array of Thai delicacies at The Fun Café, initiating a journey of vibrant tastes and scents.
By aligning the Thai Food Festival with Maha Songkran, Radisson Hotel Kathmandu not only offers a culinary experience but also provides guests with a glimpse into the vibrant cultural traditions of Thailand. The festival was inaugurated by His Excellency, Thai Ambassador Mr. Suwapong Sirisorn, and Radisson Hotel Kathmandu's General Manager, Mr. Subrata Banerjee, marking the commencement of a 9-day celebration of Thai cuisine in Kathmandu.
